What You’ll Do

As Construction Project Manager, you’ll serve as the overall project leader responsible for ensuring projects stay on scope, on schedule, and within budget. You’ll work closely with Construction Managers and field teams who oversee daily site activities while you focus on project planning, customer communication, risk management, forecasting, and coordination across multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Multiple Projects Simultaneously

  • Manage multiple construction projects ranging from approximately $500,000 to $10 million
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and reporting
  • Identify risks, bottlenecks, and schedule impacts before they become project issues
  • Coordinate project activities from planning through closeout

Drive Pre-Construction Activities

  • Lead bidding, procurement, and permitting efforts
  • Coordinate subcontractor selection and vendor engagement
  • Develop bid packages and support bid walks
  • Partner with engineering teams to transition projects into construction

Serve as the Customer-Facing Project Leader

  • Lead project meetings and customer communications
  • Provide status updates, schedule reviews, and budget reporting

  • Coordinate communication across customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams

Improve How We Deliver Projects

  • Help establish project management best practices and standards

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial, industrial, design-build, or mission-critical construction experience

    Assistant Chief Engineer (Future Chief Engineer)

    TechSite is seeking an experienced facilities professional to join our team as an Assistant Chief Engineer in a structured succession role. This position is designed to prepare the successful candidate for promotion to Chief Engineer within approximately 6–9 months through hands-on training, operational leadership, and mentorship from our current leadership team.

    The ideal candidate has progressed from a technical maintenance background into facilities leadership and is ready to take the next step into a Chief Engineer position.

    What You’ll Do

    This is more than a traditional assistant role. The Assistant Chief Engineer will work alongside the current Chief Engineer to learn every aspect of a complex, mission-critical facility while serving as a technical leader, customer liaison, and supervisor for the on-site maintenance team. The successful candidate will balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on technical involvement, ensuring the reliability, safety, and continuous improvement of critical building infrastructure.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Facility Operations & Reliability

    • Support the daily operation, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of critical building infrastructure, including:
    • Electrical distribution systems
    • HVAC and air handling equipment
    • Mechanical systems
    • Plumbing systems
    • Building Automation Systems (BMS)
    • Life Safety Systems
    • Assist with preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability.

        We’re expanding our commissioning team and looking for a Support Commissioning Specialist who’s passionate about ensuring high-performance facilities function flawlessly.

        What You’ll Do

        As a Support Commissioning Specialist, you’ll work alongside Lead Engineers to execute testing, validate systems, and assemble documentation for critical environments. You’ll play a key role in project commissioning (Cx) activities from planning and testing to documentation and issue resolution.

        Your Responsibilities:

        • Coordinate with the Owner’s Commissioning Agent, clients, contractors, and startup teams to ensure all commissioning activities meet project and safety requirements.
        • Participate in or lead commissioning coordination meetings and maintain regular communication via email, text, and phone.
        • Conduct site reviews to verify that installed equipment and control systems align with design documents and specifications.
        • Support and witness system startups, validate sensor calibration using approved devices, and assist in troubleshooting when systems deviate from expected performance.
        • Document and track commissioning issues in the client’s Cx Issues Log; follow up to ensure resolution.
        • Perform functional testing and daily post-test walkthroughs to confirm systems are left in approved operating modes.
        • Submit accurate and timely documentation, including daily reports, updated test scripts, Load Bank Plans, and other commissioning deliverables per client schedules.
        • Assist with compiling test data and assembling final commissioning reports.
        • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying lessons learned and supporting internal training or certification efforts.
